香港理工大學(QS世界大學排名：全球第66 位)於下學年(適用於2022 DSE考生在2022年9月入學) 將繼續彈性處理JUPAS入學申請的最低成績。 DSE考生在報讀學位課程的學生如未能符合理大最低入學要求「332233」成績，即中、英及2個選修科都有Level 3，而數學及通識需要 Level 2；若其中一科成績只較低一級，理大仍會作酌情考慮，惟他們必須最佳五科(Best 5)成績達26分，並將理大課程在JUPAS個人選擇排序列為Band A選擇，並成功通過入學面試。
彈性收生吸引中文失手的學生 留意理大對英文科加權比例
理大的彈性收生政策令以往中文科成績未必考到Level 3(接近50%學生)而痛失大學入場券的學生另一個機會；而理工大學將於5月21日(六）舉行網上聯招課程諮詢日，讓參加大學聯招JUPAS學生了解收生制度及課程變動。
有資深升學顧問表示，必須留意理工大學對英文科仍然極度重視，理大有超過40個JUPAS學科都將英文科計分高於其他科，所以英文成績不理想，要考入理大就大打折扣。相反，英文成績不俗考生，入讀理工(特別是醫療相關學科) 的優勢會大大增加。以前英文好但害怕中文不能達level 3的傳統名校生,因此而避開DSE , 轉賽道往 IB或 GCE A Level ，今次這個轉變，可能有助「專才型」學生留在 DSE 這個高中體系。畢竟本地學生考DSE 的成本遠比其他國際學制為低。
英文科計分比重高，很多學系都會把英文分數雙計，甚至更多，所以如果要考入心儀學科，對英文科不能掉以輕心。
